“Presumption of Innocence or Guilt”
Attorney General Eric Holder announced no charges will be pursued against Ferguson, Missouri police officer, Darren Wilson, in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Wilson said he was in fear of his safety from the charging Brown when he took measures to protect himself. No evidence disproves Wilson’s claim.
The eye witness testimony indicating that Michael Brown had his hands up when he was shot did not hold true either.
So one would think it would be good news for Eric Holder to announce that Wilson is no rogue cop right?
The best the DOJ could muster was that Wilson’s actions “do not constitute prosecutable violations under the applicable federal criminal rights statute.”
So much for simply announcing that Officer Darren Wilson is an innocent cop.
And so much for the presumption of innocence before being proved guilty.
